Go to... ISE 2017 Intevi Prysm Barco Cisco AMX Crestron LG

One of the first meetings we had scheduled at ISE was with Adam Wilson from Intevi. This was the first year Intevi had their own stand at ISE and Adam was keen to show us their latest solution – Intevi Digital Televsion (IDT).

Intevi Digital Television at ISE 2017

Adam explained that the new IDT is a true integration of IPTV, high definition video and IPTV signage. Users can choose from a range of layout styles which can be branded in line with a company’s identity. Within these layouts Intevi have provided the option to add any number of active widgets. These include news, weather, travel, traffic, twitter and any other type of automated live feed which can be bought into the system; giving audiences useful information as they view the screens.

Intevi and the Cinos Team

Their full new hardware platform of TV gateways and HD encoders enable Intevi to take live and off-air feeds onto the network as an IP stream. With so many options available for the customer, usability is key. Adam stated he felt this was the main differentiator for Intevi; with their systems being easy to install, simple to manage from an IT perspective and easy to use on a day to day basis.

Intevi also used ISE to announce they are the only IPTV manufacturer working with NEC and the Raspberry Pi embedded solution. Developed in just four weeks, this system can slot into the NEC displays to give full IPTV functionality, add widgets, play stored videos and schedule content, all from the easy to use web-based portal.

If you are looking at digital signage and IPTV for your organisation and would like to know more about Intevi’s solutions, please get in touch using one of the contact methods on this page and our team will be happy to help.
