We are extremely proud to announce that Cinos has achieved the prestigious Investors in People Gold accreditation.

Cinos achieves Investors in People Gold

Cinos have been recognised as an Investor in People since 2015, and this latest accolade reflects our desire to continuously improve and develop our staff. The Gold standard represents that our people and leadership take full ownership of the practices we have in place to support our people.

How we achieved Investors in People Gold accreditation

The data gathered from the assessment was very positive. One of the most pleasing outcomes was our culture and inclusive ethos. “Many people could describe how they valued the company and how they believed they made a real contribution to the business. Many people also valued and appreciated the opportunities they had to progress and grow within the company.”

In the assessment, Cinos successfully met 4 out of the 9 indicators at the High Performing level, 4 indicators at the Advanced level and 1 at the Established level. This achievement represents that all the necessary people-focussed strengths have been established in many areas including leadership, empowering and involving people, role definition and particularly in delivering continuous improvement and understanding the external context.

Caroline England, Practitioner at IIP stated: “This is an organisation that fully understands the importance of having engaged, fulfilled and happy staff who want to join, remain and do their best for the business. There is a real ‘family feel’ to the organisation with open communication and positive feedback processes, collaborative practices and wellbeing support.”

This latest achievement comes hot off the heels of Cinos being recognised as an accredited Living Wage employer, and is something Johanna Guest, Managing Director of Cinos is immensely proud of.

I am absolutely delighted that Cinos has been awarded the Gold accreditation by Investors in People. We constantly strive to do the best by our people, ensuring they are happy, motivated and have the chance to develop. We already knew that our company is a special place to work, and with this external recognition, it will help us let everyone else know too.
