Yes. Microsoft Teams Rooms require specific licences to function, separate from standard Microsoft 365 or Teams subscriptions. At a minimum, each Teams Room needs a Microsoft Teams Rooms Standard or Premium license, which provides the software and cloud services required to schedule, join, and manage meetings from a Teams Room.
