Why do we care?

As a forward-thinking company, part of our responsibility is to ensure that we are doing as much as we can to help protect our environment. Not only do we want to reduce our carbon emissions and help our clients do the same by offering the cleanest products, we want to give back to the environment. And what better way to achieve this than by helping our UK forests regrow to their former glory.

We understand there are numerous paths to take for a better future, and we can only play a small part in a big problem. But, with the right direction we will achieve more than we can possibly imagine today for our future generations.

“This Government is determined to leave our natural environment in a better condition than we found it. Clean growth is not an option, but a duty we owe to the next generation, and economic growth has to go hand-in-hand with greater protection for our forests and beaches, clean air and places of outstanding natural beauty.”

Theresa May,

British Prime Minister

Donate and join us on our planting day

If you’d like the opportunity to get your hands dirty and plant a tree, why not join us on our planting day in November (dates to be finalised).

A team from Cinos will be celebrating the year’s success with an opportunity to plant a tree, have a photoshoot for your own promotions and enjoy a drink or two afterwards to warm up.

Not only will this be a great opportunity to showcase your own green commitments with photoshoots and press releases, it will give you the chance to meet with the wider Cinos team and discuss any technology headaches you’d like us to resolve. But most of all it will give us the chance to thank you for working with Cinos and enjoy a pre-Christmas celebration, all in the name of a good cause.

Learn more about
the National Forest

In the late 1980s a group of visionaries drew up a plan to transform this former industrial area into a forest.

Covering parts of three counties, the Forest has no formal designation status but thanks to the commitment and support of local people the Forest is growing. To date, 8.7 million trees have been planted and today this initiative is recognised as one of the most ambitious and imaginative regeneration projects in the country.

The National Forest is right in heart of the country, embracing 200 square miles of the Midlands. It spans across parts of Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Staffordshire and aims to link the two ancient Forests of Charnwood and Needwood. With a history of coal mining and heavy industry, the landscape is now that of rolling farmland, ancient forests and new planted woodlands.
