VuWall TRx
Video Management Platform
TRx is a unique platform that combines AV-over-IP distribution, advanced multi-video wall management and KVM functions. Designed to manage video walls in professional and mission-critical environments, TRx is deployed in control rooms, security operation centres, and corporate workspaces worldwide.
With TRx, operators can manage and distribute virtually any source to any display. VuWall’s Application Server removes the need for multiple encoders and dedicated PCs, providing access to a wide range of content from a centralised location. With no programming required, TRx simplifies the deployment of complex AV-over-IP projects, reducing risk and installation time. Its open architecture ensures the platform remains scalable, interoperable and future-ready.

VuWall Technology Integrations
What sets VuWall TRx apart is not only its ease of use, but the way it integrates seamlessly with a constantly expanding list of leading security platforms including Genetec, Milestone and Synectics. These integrations allow operators to access the full power of TRx directly from the security applications they already know, removing the need to switch systems during critical operations.
From a single, familiar interface, control room teams can manage and visualise a wide range of sources including IP cameras, web applications, maps, RSS feeds, HDMI inputs and PC sources. With no programming required and VuWall’s APIs working behind the scenes, layouts can be created, recalled and adjusted with ease. The result is improved situational awareness, faster response times and more efficient, confident control room operations.

PAK ONE is a compact, single-output 4K decoder designed to extend visualisation beyond the main control room. Fully integrated with VuWall’s ecosystem and managed through the TRx Centralised Management Platform, it enables organisations to securely distribute selected content to remote operator workstations, briefing rooms, crisis rooms, management offices and other secondary locations.
Supporting a wide range of decoding formats, including H.264, H.265 and VNC, PAK ONE provides greater flexibility than traditional single-codec devices. By allowing critical information to be shared wherever it is needed, PAK ONE helps organisations maximise the value of their video infrastructure without adding unnecessary complexity.
The VuWall TRx platform combines centralised management software with a range of hardware components to create a complete video wall and AV-over-IP ecosystem. Key elements include:
Working together, these components provide a scalable and flexible platform for managing visual information across control rooms and other mission-critical environments.
The component-based design of the VuWall TRx platform provides virtually unlimited scalability. Additional input sources, video walls and standalone displays can be added as requirements evolve, without the need to replace the underlying infrastructure. This flexibility allows organisations to expand their visualisation capabilities while protecting existing investments.
The result is a flexible, high-performance video distribution platform designed to meet the evolving demands of mission-critical control room environments.
VuWall TRx offers multiple methods for controlling and managing video walls, displays and content. For day-to-day operation, users can control the system through the ControlVu touch panel, allowing predefined layouts and content presets to be recalled with a single touch. These controls can be configured to manage individual video walls, multiple displays or an entire visualisation environment from a central location.
For more advanced functionality, TRx provides a web-based user interface that enables operators to create and modify layouts, manage content sources and make real-time changes to video wall configurations from any authorised workstation. Where organisations require greater control across the wider AV estate, VuWall can be integrated with Q-SYS, enabling operators to manage video walls, displays, audio systems and other connected technologies through a single, unified control platform.
TRx also includes comprehensive administration tools for system configuration, user management and permissions, allowing organisations to control exactly who can access specific video walls, sources and operational functions.
This combination of intuitive touch control and powerful web-based management ensures both routine and complex visualisation tasks can be completed quickly, securely and efficiently.
Video wall technology plays a critical role in modern command and control environments, but successful deployments require more than just the technology itself. They demand an understanding of how operators work, how information flows through the organisation, and how visualisation platforms integrate with the wider communications, networking and security infrastructure.
