Supporting mental and physical wellbeing during lockdown with live training sessions

Cinos installs Cisco Webex Board to help Carousel Boxing launch free virtual fitness classes

Thanks to a new Cisco Webex Board, installed by Cinos, Carousel Boxing has successfully launched ‘Furlough Fight Camp’; a series of boxing-inspired live-stream training sessions for people of all ages and abilities to enjoy at home.

The virtual sessions took place throughout November and December, helping people to combat the winter lockdown and remain physically active and motivated despite the challenges of the on-going coronavirus pandemic.

Cisco 55-inch Webex Board

With a built-in audio and video conferencing system, the 55-inch interactive whiteboard has a high-resolution 4K LED screen that enabled participants to clearly see and hear the high energy sessions in the boxing ring. Streamed to Carousel Boxing’s YouTube channel, participants were able to easily join the sessions and train at home. The Webex Board also boasts:

  • High-quality audio and video conferencing

  • Built-in 12-microphone array to amplify sound quality

  • Powerful 4K camera captures high-resolution image of virtually the entire room

  • Webex Board and the Cisco Webex service together provide end-to-end encryption, so your communications and content are secure

At a time when we need to physically distance ourselves, it’s essential that we stay socially connected. Lockdown has taken its toll on all of us in different ways. Now more than ever, technology is helping to bring people together and support both physical and mental wellbeing.
