We are extremely proud to announce that Cinos PTE have been awarded the ISO 45001:2018 certificate and in doing so have fulfilled the requirements to obtain the bizSAFE Star accreditation in Singapore.

Cinos PTE achieve ISO 45001:2018 and bizSAFE STAR health and safety accreditations

In December 2020, Transpacific Certifications (Singapore) PTE Ltd, an internationally accredited certification body, visited our Singapore office and certified that our Occupational Health and Safety Management System complies with the requirements of ISO 45001:2018.

The Benefits of ISO 45001:2018 Compliance

ISO 45001:2018 is an internationally recognised standard which provides a framework to manage and continuously improve Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) within an organisation. Achieving this standard provides organisations with the following potential benefits:

  • Reduced cost of insurance premiums

  • Creation of a health and safety culture, whereby employees are encouraged to take an active role in their own OH&S

Our bizSAFE Health and Safety Compliance

During 2020 Cinos PTE achieved both bizSAFE 3 and bizSAFE 4 status; a reflection of how well the team have built up their workplace safety and health (WSH) capabilities. The award of the ISO 45001:2018 certificate means that Cinos PTE have now achieved bizSAFE STAR, the highest accreditation available in the bizSAFE programme.

bizSAFE STAR recognises that the Cinos PTE Workplace Safety and Health Management System (WSHMS) identifies, manages and controls workplace risks or hazards in compliance with the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Act and international standards such as ISO 45001.

We are delighted to have started 2021 with the announcement of both the ISO 45001:2018 and bizSAFE STAR accreditations. Not only do these standards recognise our efforts in managing health and safety hazards in and around our workplace, but they are also testimony of our underlying commitment to deliver excellence in everything that we do as a company.
