This year marked the fifth anniversary of Barco ClickShare and on stand at ISE, Barco were celebrating five years of sharing with the number one wireless presentation device. We caught up with the team to check out the latest product developments.
Barco ClickShare
All members of the Barco ClickShare family were on show, once again demonstrating that irrespective of the room size or application, there is a ClickShare for you. Whether that is the CS-100 for huddle rooms, or the enterprise-grade CSE-800 for boardrooms and conference rooms, ClickShare has you covered.
On stand in the ClickShare area, Barco were demonstrating the new features available following the latest firmware (1.5) release. With no delay when playing video, users can now see perfect lipsync and AV performance; enjoying video and audio played in perfect harmony. The ClickShare button is now 30% faster and new management tools enable users to move and control their content from a touch enabled meeting room display.
Furthermore, the new ‘Button Manager’ is sure to relieve some administration headaches. From their laptop, users can now access the Button Manager and connect to any base unit in range. Not only does this enable users to get their content on-screen quicker, it can help alleviate pressure on IT support.
wePresent
Sticking with the theme of wireless presentation, Barco announced their new flagship model in the wePresent range – the WiCS-2100 collaboration system. Amongst a range of new features designed to make collaborating with teams more effective, users can now enjoy 1080p video, an even faster AirPlay response time and Chromebook mirroring. Combined with features such as touchscreen control and on-screen annotation, Barco have ensured they have presentation solutions for any requirement and budget.
Barco UniSee
Having delivered numerous command and control projects over the years, our team headed to the Operator Experience Zone. The Barco UniSee platform was a new arrival for ISE 2018 and was a solution that attracted a lot of interest.
The platform has seen Barco completely redesign and optimise every component of the LCD video wall. The result is fantastic and has been labelled ‘the UniSee difference’. With an almost bezel-less viewing experience, Barco UniSee is a step forward in image quality. Further innovative developments ensure a reduced installation time and with the ease-of-servicing greatly improved, organisations can enjoy an increased uptime and a greater reliability of their LCD video walls.
